Initially named Semipalatinsk State Medical Institute, it rose to prominence under the name Semey Medical University in 1997. Including its own hospital, university branches are found in Pavlodar and Ust Kamenogorsk. MBBS at Semey Medical University Duration

Semey Medical University's MBBS program is known to last for 6 years, in which time students acquire both theoretical and practical knowledge.
